TOEIC Appeal Allowed

SMA Solicitors are pleased to share the news that a TOEIC appeal heard on 15 January 2020 has been allowed by the First-Tier Tribunal. The appeal involved a common allegation that our client had engaged in deception by using a proxy test taker to sit an English language test in 2012. We worked closed with Mr Jay Gajjar of Imperium Chambers – who represented our client in the First-Tier Tribunal – in preparing the bundle. The successful outcome means our client has cleared his name, can go on living his life without the worry of a false accusation and will hopefully put him in good stead to make an application for ILR and subsequently naturalisation in due course.
If you have been affected by the TOEIC saga or any other allegation of dishonesty by the Home Office, please feel free to get in touch with our expert team.
